Every Monday in June, 2017

This is a day about re-connecting with the natural world, designed for soul-searchers, tired parents and those individuals that just want to know more. It’s an immersive day created for newcomers to nature.

Fergus’s knowledge and passion for the natural world is simply compelling.

An introductory talk indoors includes screenings of films produced by Fergus to illustrate certain points. He has been making made award winning wildlife films for twenty five years, including landmark series for BBC with Sir David Attenborough.

Fergus will lead quiet walks through the London Wetland Centre to explain how to connect with nature, whilst pointing out the less obvious and the more unusual wildlife.

As well as spending quiet time in the hides looking at the birds, Fergus will explore the undergrowth and ponds to reveal the wonders of the miniature world.

Fergus will draw on informal practices used in meditation and mindfulness.
