Fergus has chosen Endsleigh because it is so magically peaceful and tranquil, set on the banks of the beautiful river Tamar, surrounded by ancient woodland and meadow grassland. Fergus will lead quiet walks to explain how to connect with nature, whilst pointing out the less obvious and the more unusual wildlife such as otters and kingfishers. Fergus will also draw on informal practices used in meditation and mindfulness to help people connect with the beauty of nature. The evenings include screenings of wildlife films produced by Fergus and presented by Sir David Attenborough. This two day retreat runs seamlessly on from a coastal Nature Connection break with Fergus at Hotel Tresanton in St Mawes.
From £364 per person, based on two people sharing. Including two nights accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and Fergus as your guide.
Friday 21 April - Sunday 23 April 2017
An excellent and highly recommended pair of Swarovski binoculars will be issued by Fergus on loan to each client for the duration of the Nature Retreat.
You will need to wear suitable clothes and footwear for walking on the moor, in fields and woodland (keep an eye on the weather forecast!). You do also need to be full able-bodied and reasonably fit. We may end up walking quite a long distance, and some of the terrain can be steep, muddy or involve climbing over or ducking under obstacles of various types.
ONE DAY RETREATS
A one day version of the popular retreat. Fergus will also draw on informal practices used in meditation and mindfulness to help you to connect with the beauty of the nature.
£150 including lunch and coffee.
